A Favour...








its 2 am n i'm done whipping choux pastry for making cream puff... i left it freezing in the freezer as a frozen dough make a better cream puff rather than baking it straight away after piping.
at 7.am i'm going tu bug sheila for her oven..hehehehe
i'm doing sheila a favour for baking this, who's gonna balik kampung later in the morning..for hantaran if i'm not mistaken.
[first plan was to bake Art Smith's hummingbird cake...but we hafta scrape it as time is not siding us]

hehehe..very very simple one lah

Choux pastry

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 4 eggs

put water, sugar and butter in a pan to boil. Once boiling, add in flour in one shot and stir vigorously till the dough didnt stick to the pan n form some sorta ball. put off the flame.

let it cooled for a while then beat in egg gradually till it became a smooth batter.

the dough is now ready for piping.
